EnCAP-IT’s Statement Regarding Senate Bill 1398 Response: Coal Combustion Residuals Ash Pond Closure Assessment

EnCAP-IT has reviewed the Senate Bill 1398 Response: Coal Combustion Residuals Ash Pond Closure Assessment prepared by AECOM for Dominion Energy, dated November 2017 and posted on Dominion’s website on December 1, 2017.  Whereas, EnCAP-IT solutions are mentioned on page 53 and page 267 within the report.

EnCAP-IT finds AECOM’s description and analysis of EnCAP-IT’s solutions erroneous, baseless and misleading.  EnCAP-IT and AECOM never met, never communicated, nor exchanged any documents regarding EnCAP-IT’s solutions.  EnCAP-IT looks forward to correcting the record and showing that it’s solutions meet all requirements and are, in many ways, superior to those sited in the report.

The conference has selected Carlton L. Dudding (AWT) to present a technical paper on the basics of constructing Mechanically Stabilized Earthen (MSE) Berms. The title of the paper is “Mechanically Stabilized Earthen (MSE) Berm Basics – Applicability, Design Standards and Construction Quality Control/Assurance.”
